What is your passion? Here is where you can just let go. Now is when you let them know.

My Mom always prayed but her frequency increased with my birth.  As a very young child I suffered multiple head injuries, sexual abuse, and the split of my family.  My older siblings went to live with my dad, my younger sister and me, with our Mom.  We soon gained another sister and lived in a home where domestic violence was our normal.  In high school, there was a second person who violated me, in front of classmates.  Not long after that I started dating and became a mother before I got my driver’s license.

My 20’s are a blur of self-medicating with drinking, drugs, fast food, promiscuity, and unhealthy relationships.  My choices lead to several more sexual assaults and relationships with domestic violence.  At this time, I was a single mother of 2; working, and going to school, my body started falling apart.  Within a few months my brother died by suicide, I had my gallbladder removed, then  I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia.  After trying every type of medication to ease the constant burning in my body, I eventually settled on pain pills.  It didn’t take long before I was addicted.  I added stronger pills and was soon dying.  I lost my home, my dog, several friends, many jobs, and finally my children.

It was then I decided to change. My first step was stopping the pills. I started doing yoga, saw a therapist, and changed my diet.  Through it all, my sister coached me and helped me learn to heal.  Changing my old way of thinking and holding myself accountable for my own happiness played a huge part in my healing.  I recently obtained a certificate as a Life Coach and I also have an associates of Applied Science in Medical Assisting, Heath Information Technology, and a Bachelors in Organizational and Strategic Communication, with a minor in Psychology.  I am also Level 2, Reiki practitioner.

Today I am healthy, happy, and in love with myself.  You can heal too if you are willing to put in the work. I am here for you.

Namaste,
