Youth Mental Health First Aid

Youth Mental Health First Aid is designed to teach parents, family members, caregivers, teachers, school staff, peers, neighbors, health and human services workers, and other caring citizens how to help an adolescent (age 12-18) who is experiencing a mental health or addictions challenge or is in crisis. Youth Mental Health First Aid is primarily designed for adults who regularly interact with young people. The course introduces common mental health challenges for youth, reviews typical adolescent development, and teaches a 5-step action plan for how to help young people in both crisis and non-crisis situations. Topics covered include anxiety, depression, substance use, disorders in which psychosis may occur, disruptive behavior disorders (including AD/HD), and eating disorders. This is a sponsored event and is open to the community free of charge. There are only 30 seats available so RSVP early.

Vision Board Workshops

What do you want for your life? The concept of vision boards is nothing new. Is it just glue, magazines and dreams? I know it's not. It's something deeper. I have re-written the script on how to vision boards are done. Come learn my secret.
I was able to sail to the Caribbean with Oprah Winfrey and Gale King but it took far more than glue and magazines.

It was all that, and then some!!!
Do you want to be divinely inspired and feel deeply connected? Do you need a little fun in your life? Well, I want to give that to you.
You have NEVER seen vision boards done like this! These are done twice a year so make sure you like our Facebook page for updates.

HardBeauty Pin-Up Shoot

When is the last time you brought the total FEMININE YOU to the front?
******
If you are a mom like me then maybe it's been a really long time or maybe never. I have never been dressed as a pin-up and had my photo taken, but since I only live once, I am totally going to on June 8th. Are you coming? I mean, why not?
Hell, I get excited for church on Sunday's because it forces me to get out of my leggings, drop my hoodie game and put a little face on, even if it's just for one day!
Not that there is anything wrong with leggings. I mean thank GOD for that amazing fashion trend. The last time leggings were in fashion for my generation they had a strap underneath and we wore leg warmers on top. Now that I think about it, I might bring that fashion trend back in the fall. Do y'all remember Units? Lord, that just dated me.
Anyway, THIS is different. We want to push you out of your comfort zone in a vulnerable but honoring way. We have teamed up with Sandy Puc Photography to bring you a one of a kind experience that is sure to linger in your soul beyond the picture. We are having a 1950's pin-up style photo shoot, just for fun and to create community.
You are guaranteed an amazing day of encouragement, laughter, beauty and connection. My daughter Mackenzie who is 15 will be with me, so I encourage you to bring the young woman in your life.
Space is VERY limited. Only open to the first 25 with a wait-list after.  This only happens one a year
Your Ticket Includes:
Complimentary 5x7 professional photo with editing, Make-up, Appetizers, mocktails AND as a bonus a copy of "Live Your Life on Purpose with Passion" Workbook. Not to forget the bomb swag bag with HardBeauty tank top!
Don't let this be another event that you see after the fact. JUMP IN!
MAKE sure to follow our Facebook page for the latest updates. We ONLY do this once a year, in August.
